Debbie Sariñana is a Democrat who has represented New Mexico House District 21 since 2016. She is an educator and former Air Force Reservist with deep ties to House District 21. She grew up, raised her family, and teaches kids in the district.

For the past 20 years, Debbie has taught mathematics and science at schools in Albuquerque and has recently retired.

Outside her classroom duties, she has assisted with a number of innovative education initiatives—including a credit recovery program that helps Native American students graduate.

She is the proud mother of three adult children, whom she raised as a single parent with the help of her family.
